Job Description
The Senior Backend Engineer will play a crucial role in evolving and scaling our recruiting software solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled professional with extensive experience in backend development and a passion for building robust, scalable web applications. The successful candidate will work in close collaboration with our Web Developers, Product Development, and Product Design teams to ensure our backend architecture supports the rapid deployment of new features.
Upon Joining The Team, Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable backend code.
- Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience.
- Develop and maintain APIs to ensure high performance, responsiveness, and scalability of our applications.
- Lead the integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic, ensuring optimal performance.
- Implement security and data protection measures, managing the storage and handling of sensitive user data.
- Engage in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including ideation, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Research, evaluate, and implement new technologies and frameworks to optimize development processes and enhance product capabilities.
Our Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in backend development, with a proven track record in:
NestJS (NestJS Microservices), Typescript, ExpressJS, TypeScript, Eslint, TypeORM
Database: PGSQL, Redis, ElasticSearch, MongoDB, RedisQueue
CMS: Strapi
- Strong understanding of the web development cycle and programming techniques and tools.
- Deep expertise in data modeling, SQL, and NoSQL databases.
- Deep expertise in design pattern, microservices and development principle.
- Familiarity with code versioning tools, such as Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently to research and apply new technologies.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Fluency in English is a plus.
