Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain ETL pipelines using cloud and on-premise ETL tools (e.g., ADF, SSIS).
  • Develop and optimize reusable pipelines and warehouse objects.
  • Manage data ingestion and transformation processes from various sources.
  • Create star schemas and ensure accurate data management practices.
  • Generate unit test documents for robust pipeline validation.

Skills Required

  • Strong expertise in ETL tools and techniques.
  • Fluency in SQL and T-SQL for stored procedures, views, and tables.
  • Advanced knowledge of Python and C#.
  • Experience with on-prem databases and Azure SQL DB, Synapse SQL Pool.
  • Familiarity with basic machine learning and algorithms.

General Requirements

  • Qualifications: Honours Degree or Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related numerate discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in ETL development and pipeline optimization.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent English communication (spoken and written).
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to manage complex data systems.
