Job Description
The successful candidate will report to General Director and take responsibilities for:
- Collaborate with Production and Facility & Maintenance Managers to discuss new equipment and significant changes.
- Meet with Production Managers and/or HR to review the OSHA log and any accidents since the last visit.
- Conduct brief facility walk-throughs to identify and report major safety hazards and cleanliness issues.
- Ensure the facility is prepared for inspections by regulatory agencies.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate program effectiveness and suggest improvements.
- Promote a culture of safety within the organization by encouraging employee engagement and participation.
- Oversee the identification, assessment, and mitigation of environmental, health, and safety (EHS) risks, including workplace hazards, chemical safety, and waste management.
- Develop and deliver EHS training programs for employees at all levels to ensure understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
- Maintain open communication channels to keep employees updated on EHS policies, regulations, and incidents.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor degree on Health, Safety and Environment or revelant technical background;
- 10+ years of related safety management experience;
- Knowledge of OSHA, theories, principles, and practices for the manufacturing industry;
- Knowledge of applicable local laws, rules, and regulations governing manufacturing safety;
- Excellent at interpersonal skills;
- Good Vietnamese and English speaking skills;
