SEV organizes some of the most well-recognized sporting events in Vietnam such as the Techcombank Ho Chi Minh City International Marathon, the Techcombank Ha Noi International Marathon, the VINFAST IRONMAN 70.3 Vietnam in Danang, and the BIM GROUP IRONMAN 70.3 PHU QUOC. We specialize in end-to-end experiences that bring together local governments, corporate partners, and consumers to promote active lifestyles and sports tourism throughout Vietnam.
From conceptualization to event day, we have built a track record of delivering large-scale, signature, and multi-year events that have garnered local and international media coverage and recognition, provided value to the communities we serve, and expanded the health and wellness ecosystem in Vietnam.
As part of 20in20 Partners portfolio, SEV is seeking a talented HR Manager or HR Senior Manager to implement and refine operating standards from 20in20 Partners's Playbook to meet global best practices in HR. This entrepreneurial role will be integral to increase the repeatability, scalability, and quality of people management at SEV and potentially other 20in20 Partners portfolio companies.

Position Title: HR Manager / HR Senior Manager
Type: Full-Time
Reporting to: General Manager
Location: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
Key Responsibilities
1. Human Resources:
- Oversee the full range of HR functions, including talent acquisition, training and development, employee relations, performance management, and compensation and benefits.
- Stay current with local labor laws to ensure all HR policies and practices align with regulatory requirements while supporting SEV's business objectives.
- Lead recruitment efforts to attract, retain, and develop top talent across all levels of the organization.
- Analyze market trends to ensure SEV's competitiveness in talent attraction and retention.
- Address employee relations matters to foster a positive work environment.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and promote professional growth.
- Execute employee retention strategies to build and maintain a skilled workforce.
- Maintain accurate HR records, including contracts, attendance, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure HR practices reflect SEV's mission, values, and culture.
2. Administrative and Logistics:
- Improve administrative processes to enhance operational efficiency.
- Manage vendor relationships, including contract negotiations.
- Oversee office operations and equipment maintenance.
- Support Project Managers with administrative and logistical tasks related to event planning.
- Handle procurement of office supplies, furniture, and equipment, maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Coordinate travel and accommodation arrangements for events.
- Organize internal company events and meetings.3. Operation Management
- Leveraging the systems and processes of the 20in20 Partners Playbook, implement best practices in recruitment, development, and retention of talent.
- Collaborate with the Board of Management (BOM) on strategic planning and organizational goal-setting.
- Monitor HR budgets and report on key HR metrics.
- Perform additional tasks as required to support SEV's strategic initiatives.
Skills and qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of HR management experience, with 5-7+ years in HR roles.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Fluent in English and Vietnamese with strong communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR management software.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to a dynamic environment.
- Strategic mindset with strong analytical skills and a focus on execution.
- Demonstrated creativity, willingness to learn, and resilience under pressure.
