Department: Institutional Sales & Trading
Report to: Head of Institutional Sales & Trading
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate revenues for the firm
- Develop your own client base
- Analyze equities, generate ideas, and present to clients
- Source and place blocks with clients and potential clients
- Keep up to date with relevant news, market insights, stocks, economics, politics, markets
- Any other work required by your superior from time to time.
Job Requirements:
- At least 3 years experience in sell side sales or research in Asian markets
- A bachelor's degree preferably in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
- Ability to see opportunities when they arise and capitalize on them
- Strong ability to make relationships and generate sales
- Strong communications skills
- Motivated individual willing to work alongside a talented team
- Proficiency is Microsoft, especially Excel
- Proficiency in Bloomberg a plus
- Must be fluent in Mandarin and English (Open for expats).
