About the role
The Stakeholder Relationship and Events Manager will drive initiatives and engagement activities with various stakeholder groups to support Fulbright University's student recruitment funnel, focusing on achieving KPIs from direct sources (non-online).

Roles and Responsibilities
1. Strategic Planning & Business Development
- Design and Execute Recruitment Strategies: Develop and implement direct student recruitment strategies aimed at meeting Fulbright University's enrollment targets through direct and relationship-based channels.
- Align with University Objectives: Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure recruitment strategies support Fulbright's broader growth objectives.
- Partnership Development: Establish and advance strategic partnerships with schools, universities, educational centers, and other relevant institutions to expand Fulbright's student recruitment reach.
- Market Insights and Opportunities: Regularly assess market trends to identify new engagement opportunities and expand Fulbright's influence in key student demographics.
2. Stakeholder Relationship Management
- Cultivate Key Partnerships: Build and strengthen relationships with local and international partners, including schools, community organizations, and educational institutions.
- Serve as University Representative: Lead engagement with key stakeholders, acting as Fulbright's one of primary representatives to diverse external audiences under guidance and delegation of Director.
- Engage Community Influencers: Coordinate with parents, local influencers, and community leaders to promote Fulbright's mission and enhance institutional visibility.
3. Recruitment Events Management
- Event Planning and Execution: Organize and execute recruitment-focused events designed to generate student interest and applications.
- Non-Digital Lead Generation: Oversee and drive non-digital lead generation efforts through events such as open houses, school fairs, university collaborations, and relevant conferences.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure smooth event operations by coordinating team roles and responsibilities, maximizing each event's impact on recruitment goals.
4. Team Leadership and Development
- Team Supervision and Mentorship: Lead and support a team of engagement and recruitment coordinators, fostering high performance and professional development.
- Training and Best Practices: Equip team members with knowledge and skills in stakeholder engagement, recruitment strategies, and event management.
- Encourage Innovation and Collaboration: Promote a collaborative environment that values innovation, excellence, and proactive problem-solving.
5. Collaboration with Internal Teams
- Cross-Departmental Alignment: Work closely with Marketing, Communications, Finance, and Admissions teams to maintain cohesive recruitment strategies.
- Support Campaign Development: Contribute to creating recruitment materials and campaigns focused on stakeholder engagement and fulfilling student recruitment KPIs.
What we look for
Education: Bachelor's degree in business, education management, marketing, or related fields; Master's degree preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years in business development, stakeholder engagement, or student recruitment; with at least 2 years in a managerial or team-leading role.
- Proven experience in the education sector, particularly in higher education, recruitment, or event management.
- Strong familiarity with working with schools, universities, and community organizations in Vietnam, ideally within a bilingual or international context.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Exceptional relationship management skills with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in event planning, management, and execution.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Vietnamese and English.
- Strong organizational abilities, capable of handling multiple tasks and deadlines.
- High level of interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to represent Fulbright professionally.
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering a positive experience for potential students and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in digital and non-digital marketing strategies is a plus.
- Demonstrated history of achieving recruitment or sales targets.
- Ability to think creatively and innovate in student recruitment and engagement strategies.
