Responsibilities
3PS management
o Define and establish 3PS (e.g. Printed Quality Management, Testing and Inspection) service to meet Member's Mark brand expectation.
o Liaise among internal quality and packaging team with 3PS to review and align the business requirements and expectations and leading technical/operations issues resolution.
o Partner with 3PS to have right capability and capacity to support Surety of Supply and Growth in India initiatives.
o Manage 3PS performance, regular assessment on program execution and work efficiency, as well as improvement opportunities and corrective actions.
o Continue review opportunities and improvement for program operations and executions efficiency.
Project Management and Continuous Improvement
o Develop and establish project to support Member's Mark initiatives (e.g. Member's Mark brand program in manufacturing environment, Preferred Packaging Supplier, etc.).
o Lead team to conduct regular factory visits to elevate partnership with suppliers and factories.
o Identify improvement opportunities by data analysis. Define and lead continuous improvement projects to elevate quality, efficiency and effectiveness.
Manage and organize regular program trainings to internal associates, suppliers and factories, and any requests may require enhancing quality assurance.
Ensure business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives; soliciting, evaluating, and applying suggestions for improving efficiency and cost effectiveness.
Consult on quality metrics, practices, guidelines, policies, and procedures. Raises awareness of the impact of quality management on the bottom line.
Assess industry and marketplace for quality management best practices and tools. Direct development of quality guidelines, policies, and procedures.
Requirements
Bilingual in English and Vietnamese. Chinese speaking is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant discipline. Lean Six Sigma Certification is a must
Minimum 10-15 years of work experience at manufacturer, product development engineering, retail buying office or test laboratory environment, and a knowledge of product manufacturing processes. Specific knowledge in Primary Hardgoods (+ Packaging) is a plus
Project Management experience is a must
