Position Summary:
The Sales Manager - B2B will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans, managing a team of sales representatives, seeking new customers, and maximizing advertising revenue. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in sales management within the advertising industry.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
(1) Develop and Implement Sales Strategies:
- Create and execute comprehensive sales plans to achieve company goals and increase advertising revenue.
- Identify new market opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to refine strategies and ensure targets are met.
(2) Seek New Customers:
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client base.
- Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain new customers.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to generate leads and build relationships.
(3) Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, advertising agencies, and stakeholders.
- Address client concerns and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop client engagement initiatives and advertising packages.
(4) Sales Operations:
- Oversee the sales pipeline and ensure accurate forecasting.
- Utilize tool/ software to track sales activities and client interactions.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management.
(5) Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify trends and competitive landscape in cinema advertising.
- Analyze data to inform sales strategies and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay updated with industry developments, emerging advertising technologies, and best practices.
(6) Team Management:
- Train and manage a high-performing sales team specializing in cinema advertising.
- Provide ongoing coaching and support to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Set clear performance expectations and conduct regular performance reviews.
Education and Work Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, or a related field;
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the advertising or media industry;
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth;
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
