SCOPE OF WORK
Under the general guidance and supervision of the Head of Sales Multi property and within the limits of hotel policies and procedure, assist the Head of Sales Multi property in all aspects of the sales administration, planning, and sales solicitation, and talent development.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Responsibilities includes, but not limited to, assisting Head of Sales to oversee day-to-day sales and administration efforts of all personnel in Sales department, with specific responsibility for directing sales, telemarketing, training and implementing action plans set forth in the business plan or as Head of Sales.
- Engage with bookers, influencers, and decision makers to maintain a good client relationship and to solicit for future businesses.
- To be fully aware of the potential and buying decisions of all leisure key accounts from source, competition set information on rates and potential business volume to allow for specific strategic planning related to such accounts.
- Ensure appropriate efforts are expanded on the solicitation and development of local and international corporate and accounts defined in the assigned portfolios.
- Engage with bookers, influencers and decision makers to maintain a good client relationship and to solicit for future businesses.
- To be fully aware of the potential and buying decisions of all key accounts, competitive information on rates and volume to allow for specific strategic planning related to such accounts.
- Fully capable of making decisions on rate and room block commitment through effective analysis of program history and hotel marketing strategy or budget.
- Ensure that one-stop shopping concept is applied at all times for any lead generated for business & Leisure sales in Central of Vietnam & Long Haul Market.
- To respond to all enquiries within 6 hours and overseas enquiries 24 hours.
- To maintain an effective account and account management through Opera and to be fully competent with operating Opera Sales and Catering system.
- Traces on accounts and bookings are logged into Opera Sales and Catering daily and ensures that traces are acted upon timely and thoroughly.
- To ensure that group resume, long stay memo, site inspection memo, and others important information is distributed to support department in a timely manner.
- To assist Head Division to take care RFP or handle difficult client's in all segments.
- Keep a good communication with department head on any development of the approved RFP account, RFP inclusion and with Events Manager's on client's who have event and banquet business potentials for the hotel.
- Performs related duties and special projects as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENT
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience, preferably within the hospitality, tourism, or travel industry.
- Strong knowledge of the Central Vietnam market and experience in long-haul market sales is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Strong network within the travel and tourism industry in Vietnam.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and lead a sales team.
- Fluency in English and Vietnamese. Additional languages are preferred.
