Job Description:
We are seeking a fulltime Mid-Senior Quality Assurance Specialist to play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality for our online platform, that are expected to generate millions euros of revenue every year. You will be working on a variety of card games, slot games and virtual games, ensuring they meet both our internal criteria and regulatory standards within Italy and globally. Beside, you can have the chances to verify integration processes with huge clients all over the world in the gaming sector. You will also hold the responsibility to establish quality control procedures for all products across the company. Key Responsibilities
1. Test Planning and Strategy
- Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies tailored to each aspect of the gaming platform, including games rules, tournament systems, back office management, and third-party integrations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, business analyst, project manager, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test coverage aligns with business objectives.
2. Test Case Design and Execution
- Develop standardized templates and guidelines for creating test cases, ensuring consistency and thorough coverage of all features and functionalities.
- Implement a systematic approach to test case execution, prioritizing critical scenarios and documenting test results in a centralized repository for traceability.
- Execute test cases, test scripts to test the bug fixing, coding and features integration in order to make sure the issues get fixed and do no harm to other features.
3. Third-party integration testing
- Develop integration test suites covering all interfaces/protocol and interactions with third-party systems, ensuring seamless interoperability and data consistency.
- Ability to read and understand API documentation provided by third-party vendors.
- Verify the accuracy of API responses, adherence to specifications, and compliance with standards such as REST or SOAP.
- Test error handling mechanisms to ensure the core product gracefully handles errors or exceptions returned by third-party services.
4. Customer Advocacy
- Establish feedback channels and mechanisms to capture user insights, preferences, and pain points, integrating them into the testing process to prioritize enhancements and bug fixes.
- Conduct usability testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate that the gaming platform meets user expectations and delivers an enjoyable gaming experience.
- Continuously monitor and ensure platform stability for live-operation service.
5. Documentation and Reporting
- Implement a documentation management system to organize test plans, test cases, test results, and other artifacts in a centralized repository accessible to all stakeholders.
- Generate automated test reports with predefined metrics and KPIs to provide real-time visibility into project progress and quality status.

- Standardize quality control processes and methodologies to ensure consistency and repeatability across all products and development teams.
- Develop documentation outlining standardized procedures, guidelines, and best practices for quality control activities.
- Identify key quality metrics and performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of quality control processes across different products.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance specialist
- Experience in testing methodologies, including functional testing, regression testing, and integration testing.
- Solid understanding of APIs, web services, and integration protocols such as REST, SOAP, OAuth, etc.
- Experienced with online platform and user data management.
- Knowledge with programming languages such as TypeScript, JavaScript, C#, SQL, HTLM, CSS
- Self-ownership with good interpersonal skills to work in cross-functional environemnt
- Understanding a variety of software development approaches and methodologies including Agile and Waterfall
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Jiras, Clickup
- English proficiency, reading and written is a must, basic level of oral communication
Nice to have
- Understanding of gambling regulation is a big plus
- Experienced with online gaming platform, card games in specific
- Basic knowledge of automated testing
