Job description:
- Handle import/export customs procedures and provide client consultation
- Coordinate and manage tasks effectively to ensure smooth and timely customs clearance and logistics processes
- Conduct investigative research and analysis on customs and trade-related issues
- Support administrative duties, proposal preparation, and marketing material development
- Attend client meetings and document all relevant facts and information
- Represent the clients during interactions with relevant authorities
- Support business development initiatives within the team and help foster long-term client relationships
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with a focus in Commerce, Trade, or Economics
- At least 3-5 years working in logistics positions, preferably in roles involving customs import/export clearance procedures, shipping and receiving, inventory management, or supply chain management
- Strong understanding and interpretation of customs regulations and relevant domestic (Incoterms, GATT, FTA, etc.)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Excellent spoken and written English skills. French is a plus
- Strong analytical and time management skills
- Willingness to travel as needed
