Senior Tooling Engineer (Die-Casting)

Responsibilities:

• Prepare the mold specification for tooling and part cost quotation based on 2D/3D drawing.
• DFM review, molding design review, machining fixture review and approval to vendor for tooling build up.
• Capable to evaluate Magma mold flow for die-casting.
• On-site verify tooling trial shot and solve trouble shooting.
• Support MP tooling trouble shooting, including of tooling maintenance, tooling modification, increasing tooling capacity, auditing tooling performance.

Requirements:

• 4 years or above relevant experience in die-casting molding.
• Experience in molding structure such as: type of mold, runner, gate, vents, overflow, ejection mechanism, coolingetc.
• Can design 2D/3D the complex die-casting mold by using NX, Creo Parametricetc.
• Experience about DFM for die-casting product.
• Good at English.
• Be familiar with UG (NX) / AutoCAD / PowerPoint / Moldflow /Magma/ Excel.
