TymeX is the technological and operational arm of a larger entity called TymeGroup. We research, design and develop software for our business units based in South Africa, Philippines and APAC in the fin-tech world. We currently have a bank licence in South Africa, The Philippines, and expanding fast in Vietnam.
The role
We seek a talented and enthusiastic Senior UX Researcher. This role will be based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, with occasions to travel abroad.
As a Senior UX Researcher specializing in both quantitative and qualitative research, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience of our products across our global market. You're expected to conduct a variety of cross-cultural research methods while working close with designers, product managers, and business owners.
The Key Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and conduct primary user research using qualitative and quantitative methods such as moderated and unmoderated usability testing, in-depth interviews, field studies, and surveys.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify research goals, develop research plans, and translate findings into actionable insights
- Analyze and synthesize research findings to inform the product design and development team, gather insights to inform and validate design decisions and identify areas for improvement.
- Synthesize research findings into compelling narratives and presentations for key stakeholders, advocating for the user's perspective at every stage of the design process
- Stay updated on UX trends, best practices, and emerging research methodologies
- Collaborative mindset, who can educate non-researchers about the value of different research methodologies
- Just do it attitude - able to self-overcome issues and get things done
- Above all, you must be a truly passionate researcher with a user-centered mindset
Requirements
- At least 6+ years of relevant experience in conducting UX research
- Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, Communications Research, Statistics, Economics, or any related field
- Experience conducting in-depth interviews and moderated usability testing
- Experience conducting unmoderated usability testing, survey design, and descriptive statistics
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate research findings into actionable insights
- Can fluently speak in English and Vietnamese
- Experience with research tools such as Figjam, Figma, Maze, Survey Monkey, Mix Panel, Optimizely etc
