Job Title: Service Operations Manager - Heavy Equipment & Parts
Location: HCMC
Main Responsibilities:
- Oversee the service and parts operations for heavy equipment across designated regions in Vietnam.
- Design and optimize processes for handling machinery and parts throughout the rental cycle, including inbound, repair, storage, and outbound stages.
- Standardize service procedures and implement regular reviews to address deviations.
- Develop incentive and penalty programs for the service team and conduct regular performance evaluations.
- Manage cost control for service operations, with a focus on mining and remote service sites.
- Train, guide, and coach the service team to align with company standards, rectifying unsafe or non-compliant behaviors swiftly.
- Develop an annual training plan to enhance technical and operational knowledge within the team.
- Conduct site visits to understand customer needs and resolve on-site repair issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain high parts availability.
- Plan and develop a service point network to support business needs.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by senior management.
Qualifications:
- 6+ years in heavy equipment, ideally with mining machinery, AWP, or heavy trucks.
- Experience leading both frontline and back-office service teams.
- Strong technical knowledge in heavy equipment, with a preference for excavator and dump truck experience.
- Proficiency in English, strong communication skills for a matrix environment.
- Resilient and adaptable in fast-paced settings.
- University degree in a relevant field and experience in reputable companies.
