Job Description:
Reporting to the Marketing Director, you will be responsible for the creation and execution of the social marketing strategy. In this position, you will support the current game development cycle, help plan the success of all future releases, and nurture a growing community of players. You will recognize and cultivate brand advocates and evangelists, continually developing the studio's brand and reputation. Most importantly, we seek a team member who understands how social media can strategically advance business objectives.
Responsibilities:
Strategize and Lead Social Marketing: Develop and implement a social media strategy to grow Seedworld's player base, increase brand awareness, drive community engagement, and support both digital and in-game events.
Platform Management: Manage Seedworld Studios social channels (e.g., X, Insta, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn), identifying emerging platforms and opportunities to expand our reach.
Content Creation and Coordination: Craft a unique tone and style for Seedworld, write and coordinate social media content, and ensure consistent and compelling messaging across platforms.
Paid Social Management:Building out social media buys for various ad platforms and overseeing the day-to-day execution of paid social media.
Trend Spotting and Real-Time Engagement: Stay up-to-date on gaming and Web3 trends, capitalizing on timely events and trends to boost engagement and drive awareness.
Analytics and Reporting: Monitor, analyze, and report on social media activity using listening tools, leveraging insights to refine strategies and consistently work on growing our social following.
Relationship Building: Cultivate relationships with key influencers, community members, business partners and advocates, amplifying opportunities to build trust and grow Seedworld's presence.
Social Media/Community Engagement: Act as the voice of Seedworld Studios, work with community and partner teams to interact with players, fostering community/partner connections, and addressing player feedback in collaboration with the development team.
Qualifications:
Passionate Gamer: A true enthusiasm for video games and an understanding of what excites and motivates gaming communities.
Social Media Expertise: A deep understanding of social media channels, trends, and best practices, ideally within the Web3 or gaming industry.
5+ Years of Experience: Proven track record as a successful social media and community manager, with experience developing and executing social media campaigns.
Exceptional Communication Skills: Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to craft engaging content and connect authentically with diverse audiences.
Self-Motivated and Organized: Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines with minimal supervision, demonstrating initiative and drive.
Analytical Mindset: Experience with social listening tools and analytics, with a proven ability to use insights to drive strategy.
