About the Role
As a Social Media Specialist, you will manage and grow 51Talk's social media presence on international platforms. Your role will include creating innovative content, crafting engaging campaigns, and driving social media strategies to enhance our global brand image.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimise social media campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok platforms.
- Develop compelling and creative content tailored to various platforms, ensuring alignment with 51Talk's brand voice.
- Monitor social media trends, viral events, and emerging technologies to create timely and impactful campaigns.
- Analyse target markets and audience behaviour to fine-tune social media strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency in messaging and alignment with marketing objectives.
- Drive project timelines and ensure the delivery of high-quality outputs under tight deadlines.
- Contribute to the development of the overseas team's social media capabilities.
What is Required of You
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience managing social media accounts (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok).
- Proven success in growing and managing social media accounts; having a portfolio of successful campaigns is a plus.
- Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to create compelling, platform-specific content.
- Excellent knowledge of platform algorithms, trends, and analytics tools.
- Exceptional creativity with experience in campaign planning and execution.
- Proficiency in social media management tools and content creation software.
- Fluency in English is a must, and proficiency in Mandarin/Chinese is a strong advantage.
