Software Developer

POSITION SUMMARY

Under limited supervision develops, reviews, and analyzes software programs and systems to support the electronic manufacturing operation.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTION

• Creates, tests, debugs and documents programs.
• Analyzes and modifies programs to improve performance.
• Takes independent action to resolve problems encountered during system operations.
• Maintains integrity of program logic and coding and establishes required checks and balances for operational controls.
• Maintains and expands current knowledge of computer operating procedures and operating standards.
• Participates in the process of evaluating and selecting new systems.
• Provides training and support to internal users.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION REQUIRED

Bachelor's degree relating to Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent educational and/or work experience.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Minimum 2 - 3 years relevant experience

SKILLS REQUIRED

Strong programming skills in Visual Basic, MS Access, and Office VBA/ Visual Studio Code

Demonstrated ability to learn new languages.

Solid database programming skills

Able to develop software interface tools.

Ability to interface well with technical and non-technical co-workers and customers.

Strong aptitude to produce high quality work in a fast paced, service-oriented environment.

Previous work experience in electronics manufacturing environment, including interfacing with an MRP system highly desired.

Experience with Lotus Notes, or similar application, preferred.

SALARY: Negotiable

WORKING TIME: 7H30 A.M 4H00 P.M

Monday-Friday & 2 Saturdays of the month
