We, LG Electronics Development Vietnam (LGEDV), conduct core R&D activities, and various product reliability tests to support our vehicle component business.
As a Software Project Leader of LGEDV in the Da Nang office, your roles & responsibilities will be as follows:
Project Management
- Discuss plans for assigned projects with HQ based on LGEDV & Vietnam calendar
- Monitor the progress of scheduled activities
- Monitor and control the quality of deliverables
- Identify and act on potential problems as early as possible
- Identify, report, and act on risks as early as possible
- Identify and act on conflicts of interest with other areas within or external to the project
- Report progress (and potential delays and issues) to HQ/OEM
Defect Management
- Supervise the Development and maintenance of the heritage of the defect to reinforce the platform approach
- Act as SPOC (Single Point Of Contact) for the defect management towards OEM/HQ
- Manage defect calls with OEM/HQ and provide clear minutes and actions
Software Releases
- Support the release of each software to all stakeholders and Partners of the LGEDV, supporting them for each difficulty which may be faced during the update.
- Review Software release notes prepared by Functional teams for each release, and make sure it is meeting the required quality
Customization requirements
- Insert and update settings and customization requirements inside LG databases
- Analyze the impact of CR and lead overall CR development
Test Coordination
- Collaborate with Validation stakeholders & Certification teams to retest fixed defects
- Review various reports prepared by Validation stakeholders & Certification teams
Process Alignment
- Improvement for project management to meet A-SPICE requirement
- General Requirement:
- B.S in Mechatronic Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Computing Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related major
- More than 3 years of experience in the field of developing SW automotive electrical and electronic equipment by basic Linux/Android for vehicles
- More than 3 years of experience using configuration management tools & building embedded software development environment
- More than 1 year of working experience in project management of automotive electrical and electronic equipment SW development
- Experienced full-cycle response from developing mass-production automotive electrical and electronic equipment SW for vehicle
