Position OverviewThe Solution Architect specializing in ERP systems plays a crucial role in designing, implementing, and optimizing ERP solutions to meet the complex business needs of clients. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and leadership skills to deliver successful ERP projects and drive business growth. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a passion for delivering innovative solutions and exceeding client expectations.
Responsibilities
TECHNICAL DELIVERY
- Lead the design, implementation, and customization of ERP solutions to meet client requirements.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance throughout the project lifecycle to optimize ERP system performance, ensure successful delivery of ERP projects.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess project success and identify areas for improvement.
BUSINESS GROWTH
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop proposals, presentations, and demonstrations for potential clients.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitor offerings to inform business growth strategies.
- Contribute to the development of thought leadership content, case studies, and success stories to showcase expertise and attract new clients.
- Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional services to existing clients.
EXTERNAL COMMUNICATION & CLIENT FACING
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders, building strong relationships based on trust and communication.
- Understand client business needs and objectives to tailor ERP solutions that drive value and ROI.
- Proactively address client concerns and challenges to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.
INTERNAL COMMUNICATION & MENTORSHIP
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and pre-sales teams to develop comprehensive ERP solutions tailored to client needs.
- Work closely with project managers, business analysts, and technical teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of ERP projects.
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops and meetings to gather requirements, define solution architectures, and resolve technical challenges.
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to translate business requirements into actionable ERP solutions.
- Engage with third-party vendors, partners, and stakeholders to leverage complementary technologies and resources.
- Mentor and support consulting & technical team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the team & across departments.
Qualifications- Bachelorâs degree (or higher) in Information Systems, Information Technology, or other technical disciplines.
- 6+ years of experience in consulting or digital agency environments.
- In-depth understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, or Odoo, etc.Â
- Proficiency in ERP-specific technologies such as SAP ABAP, Oracle PL/SQL, Microsoft Dynamics Development, or Odoo Postgre. Knowledge of database management systems, middleware, and integration tools.
- Proficient in ETL tools and methodologies for data migration, skilled in data analysis techniques for insights, and experienced in ensuring data quality through cleansing, transformation, and validation.
- Ability to analyze business requirements, identify gaps, recommend ERP solutions, and align them with business objectives and processes. Experience in conducting business process reengineering and optimization to maximize the benefits of ERP systems.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels. Ability to translate technical concepts into business terms and vice versa.
- Experience in evaluating ERP vendors, negotiating contracts, and managing vendor relationships. Knowledge of ERP market trends and emerging technologies.
- Strategic thinking, business acumen, and a passion for driving business growth through technology.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Solution selling experience.
- Strong knowledge of business processes across various functions like finance, supply chain, manufacturing, retail, or field service.Â
