We are searching for a talented and passionate
Sound Composer (Senior or Lead) to join our slot game team based in either Ho Chi Minh city or Hanoi and bring unforgettable audio experiences to life. If you thrive on creating immersive soundscapes and crafting memorable musical scores that elevate gameplay, we'd love to hear from you. The role is also open to expats in Vietnam.
Office Locations:
- HCM: Phuong Nam Building, 28 Truong Son, Tan Binh District, Ho Chi Minh City
- Hanoi: FLC Twin Tower, 265 Cau Giay, Cau Giay District, Hanoi
Working time: Monday to Friday, 9:00AM - 6:00PM.
Key Responsibility
- Establish and communicate the audio vision in cooperation with the game's creative directors
- Record voice-overs, create outstanding and memorable musical compositions in a variety of genres, and design sound effects that define the audio environment of our games thus enhancing the player experience
- Work closely with the development teams to ensure successful integration of audio content into our games
- Manage the day-to-day operation of the project's audio team, including ensuring submission of final audio files on or before required deadlines, and conduct testing, validation and debugging of game audio systems
- Manage and lead all external audio resources (musical artists, sound designers and voice actors) when necessary, and seamlessly integrate their work into the project
- Perform quality control review for the project's audio on all applicable platforms, and define best practices, pipeline and audio style
- Regular research and use of new sound technology and equipment to improve the production pipeline
Your Skills And Experience
- Bachelor's degree in composition/arrangement/music technology studies, or equivalent professional experience
- 5+ years experience as part of a game development team in a Senior Audio role, with a proven track record and extensive experience in recording voice-overs, creating music, and designing sound effects for video games
- Expertise with utilizing industry-standard DAWs like Cubase, Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Audacity, Ableton etc.
- Able to adapt to multiple styles of music and different musical intents according to the needs of the games
- Exceptional organizational and project management abilities, capable of overseeing the audio production process from concept to in-game implementation
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, artists, and sound designers
