Lead and oversee the end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, and supplier relationships.
Analyze current supply chain processes and identify areas for improvement to enhance efficiency, reduce lead times, and optimize inventory levels.
Source and evaluate potential new suppliers/vendors, negotiate contracts, and establish strategic partnerships to ensure a diversified and reliable supply base.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to align supply chain activities with production schedules and product requirements.
Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives, value engineering projects, and lean manufacturing principles to drive down production costs while maintaining product quality and reliability.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track supply chain performance, identify deviations from targets, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and ethical sourcing practices throughout the supply chain.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including process optimization, supplier development programs, and implementation of supply chain best practices.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, vendors, logistics partners, and internal departments, to foster collaboration and alignment towards common goals.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, or operations roles within the semiconductor, electronics, or related industries.
Proven track record of successfully optimizing supply chain processes, reducing costs, and improving efficiency in a manufacturing environment.
Strong negotiation skills and experience in supplier/vendor management, contract negotiation, and supplier performance evaluation.
Solid understanding of inventory management principles, demand forecasting techniques, and supply chain logistics.
Experience with implementing lean manufacturing principles, value stream mapping, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma).
Excellent analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
