The Supply Planning Manager at JR286 is responsible for leading the Supply Planning team in Asia to ensure the appropriate supply level to the company operations, providing business expertise in managing supply from global supply bases, and leveraging knowledge of planning analysis and reporting tools.
What You'll Do:
- Ensure the supply and distribution chain, from plant to customer, is managed and operated in an effective/efficient manner.
- Lead the team of Supply Planners located in different regions with high performance and team spirit.
- Represent supply planning team and build strong work relationship with suppliers in the region.
- Responsible for overall purchasing and on-time delivery tracking of in-line, promo/sports marketing, and sales sample orders.
- Analyze supply forecast, product lead time, and vendor capacity to decide seasonal allocation plan
- Manage monthly buy process including MRP analysis, inventory and supply status, and capacity availability and handle with any exceptions.
- Positively impact inventory management and order fulfillment improving on-time delivery.
- Determine the scheduling and expediting of inventory deliveries to ensure acquisition of appropriate levels of material from suppliers.
- Work closely with the regional product development team on impact from new product introduction to product end-of-life.
- Partner with regional sourcing team in developing long-term supplier and sourcing strategies.
- Recommend and develop improvements in reporting and supply planning processes.

What to Bring:
- BS in Engineering or business management required.
- 5-7 years recent experience in a large-scale retail environment, allocating footwear, apparel, accessories, or fashion-based products with managerial/leadership experience.
- Computer proficiency including spreadsheets such as Excel and Oracle 11i Planning, MRP, inventory, and purchasing modules.
- Must be decisive, able to take risks confidently.
- Must be able to work in a team environment and lead a team to maximize their potential.
- Strong analytical skills, include writing functional and technical specifications along with interfacing with the user/technical community.
