Sustainability has long been at the heart of the way Sucafina does business, which is underscored by our purpose: to create opportunities to improve lives. From climate change and deforestation to human rights, poverty, and unsustainable farm practices, the coffee supply chain faces major challenges. With the growing demand for responsibly sourced coffee across the industry, we as Sucafina's Global Sustainability Team want to help roasters of all sizes achieve their sustainability goals.
This role will be within the Sustainability department's newly formed Sustainability Data Team, located in multiple locations around the globe. The team is expanding in size to lay the foundations of the most modern, streamlined and data-driven sustainability experience the sector offers.
Role Definition
As a Reporting Data Analyst within the Sustainability department, you will play a crucial role in advancing our sustainability initiatives through insightful data analysis and reporting. You will be responsible for leveraging programming, ETL and dashboarding tools to extract, analyze and visualize data both for internal and external stakeholders, providing valuable insights.
Key Responsibilities
Utilize SQL, Python, Power BI, and other analytical tools to analyze large datasets on sustainability and coffee supply chain.
Conduct reporting works on sustainability (e.g., carbon emissions, living income assessment), sales (e.g., responsibly sourced coffee sales) and project management both for internal and external stakeholders, instructing them for actionable insights.
Ensure ata accuracy, consistency, and integrity by implementing robust data management processes and conducting regular quality assurance checks.
Work closely with internal stakeholders to identify data sources, establish data governance standards, and streamline data collection processes.
