Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership & Mentoring: Lead, mentor, and guide a team of .NET developers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Project Oversight: Oversee and manage the end-to-end technical delivery of .NET-based projects, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Architecture & Design: Lead the architecture and design of scalable and secure .NET applications, ensuring they meet business and technical requirements.
- Technical Expertise: Provide hands-on technical leadership, including participating in code reviews, debugging, and ensuring the team follows industry best practices.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into efficient technical solutions.
- Code Quality: Establish and enforce coding standards, ensuring the team adheres to test-driven development, clean code practices, and performs thorough testing.
- Problem Solving: Troubleshoot, identify root causes, and resolve complex technical issues across all layers of the application.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in software development processes and tools, ensuring a focus on automation, performance optimization, and scalability.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven Experience: 6+ years of experience in software development with a strong background in .NET technologies, including at least 2 years in a technical leadership role.
- .NET Stack Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with .NET Core, ASP.NET, C#, and Entity Framework.
- Architecture Skills: Experience designing and developing microservices-based, scalable, and high-performance systems in .NET.
- Database Skills: Strong proficiency with SQL Server or other relational databases.
- Cloud Knowledge: Experience with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS, including building and deploying cloud-native applications.
- Agile Methodologies: Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Version Control & CI/CD: Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices to automate deployments and streamline development processes.
- API Development: Experience with designing and developing RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.
- Team Management: Experience mentoring developers, conducting code reviews, and ensuring code quality.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Cloud Expertise: Deep knowledge of Azure services, including App Services, Azure Functions, and Azure DevOps.
- Frontend Experience: Experience with frontend technologies such as Angular, React, or Blazor.
- DevOps & Automation: Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM templates).
- Security Practices: Knowledge of security best practices in software development, including identity management (OAuth, OpenID Connect).
- Open Source Contributions: Active participation in .NET open-source projects or technical communities is a plus.
