Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead (Java) focusing on mainly hands-on in Java programming language to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in developing scalable, reliable, and high-performance backend services. You will be responsible for server-side web application logic and integration of the front-end part.
Key Responsibilities
Write clean code to develop functional web applications
Troubleshoot and debug applications
Perform UI tests to optimize performance
Manage cutting-edge technologies to improve legacy applications
Collaborate with Front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
Gather and address technical and design requirements
Provide training and support to internal teams
Build reusable code and libraries for future use
Liaise with developers, designers, and system administrators to identify new features
Follow emerging technologies
Your skills and experience
Qualifications
This is an NON-managerial role which requires:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
10+ year of experience in professional software development.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as Senior Java Developer.
Experience in full-stack engineering would be a plus
Experience in the banking domain is a must
In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment)
Hands-on experience with Java, SpringBoot, Microservices
Excellent verbal communication skills
Good problem-solving skills
Attention to detail
Preferred Skills
Experience with Backend as a Service (BaaS) is a plus
Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, etc.
Experience with containerization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
Familiarity with AI and machine learning

Salary band per level are reviewed once per year
13th month salary pro rata depending on the employee's length of service (within a calender year), paid with the December salary
