The Position
The main purpose of the role
Technical Sales & VTS Specialist, Poultry is to assist in the creation and roll out of strategies related to Poultry technical sales and VTS, and in the provision of technical services to key customers.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Collation and analysis of pertinent market information, and assist in the creation of relevant marketing strategies.
- Technical sales conduct and marketing support for Customers visit, recommendation for laboratory tests if needed, creating program recommendations and/ or flock management adjustments based on available laboratory tests and flock data/ observations.
- Assist in the sales analysis and in the creation of strategies to increase or regain sales of specific products.
- Monitoring of product trials or evaluation.
- Work and support closely with Technical - VTS and Marketing Manager and distributor's team.
- Provide support in pushing for the sales of specific products in identified areas and accounts.
- Support and deploy implementation of Vaccination Technologies and Services (VTS) programs.
- Leads by example in pursuing the mission and corporate values of BI and adherence to the provisions of HSE policies.
Requirements
Minimum Education / Degree Requirements: Doctor of Veterinary Medicine/ Engineer of husbandry and veterinary with minimum five (5) years field experience in poultry health and management

- Excellent communication, convincing and presentation skills

- Good to excellent literacy in the use common computer applications
- Highly professional and ethical, willing to learn and improve
