OVERVIEW:
The ideal applicant would have strong knowledge of injection tooling design, tooling manufacturing, moldflow, scientific molding, as well as excellent communication skills. Additional knowledge of project management is preferred, with prior experience of building and leading a team Problem solving and proactive mindset also required. The candidate must speak and write English proficiently. Global environmental working experience is desired and working travelling is required.

Responsibilities:
- Grow and develop the tooling engineers to build a strong, empowered team
- Management of planning and scheduling of tooling work load to ensure smooth manufacturing and delivery of goods. Ensure the tooling manufacturing products within or exceeds the required standards.
- Review with design team to optimize the part structure for the workable tooling and molding.
- Provide technical comments and solution to ensure the tooling is designed and manufactured properly, and the molding will be consistent and efficient.
- Liaise with the engineering, quality, merchandize team, OEM and tooling factories to resolve quality, productivity and delivery issues.
- Drive tooling suppliers to develop management system to fulfil company's business requirement, maintaining good 5S and safe working environment.
Skills:
- Proficient knowledge for software at Pro/E, UG, Mold flow, AutoCAD, Excel and Power Point.
- Excellent English communicate ability. Strong ability in communication, coordination and problem solving.
- Strong technical experience and interpersonal skills within a team and across different functional teams.
- Self-motivated and highly organized
- Familiar with tooling material/component/manufacturing price and quotation for new tools and tooling modification, Able to work with tooling factory to implement lean manufacturing and cost down related activities.
- Flexibility in production support related to tooling/injection. Able to feedback, follow up and possess proactive thinking.
- Able to plan jobs, supervise personnel and good at team building; Evaluate, motivate and drive the immediate subordinate to become a positive contributor to the organization.
Qualifications / Experience:
- 12-15 years experience of injection tooling design, manufacturing and tooling project.
- Minimum 3 years in management to lead the tooling team for working.
Education/Certifications/Affiliations:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering /Tooling design is preferred
