Job Summary

Makes or improves different types of tools to enable the production processes to be as efficient as possible. This may include jigs, fixtures, clamps or molds to obtain a more robust consistently produced part that meets the specification of the customer

Main Duty and Responsibilities

  • Assemble metal stamping dies and perform any required machining operations.
  • Perform tool setup and testing on presses for testing purposes
  • Perform troubleshooting, modifications, adjustments, corrections and improvements on machines and tools to achieve desired results.
  • Perform quality inspection on manufactured parts for conformance purposes
  • Provide technical support to production during initial trial runs and coordinate with quality department personnel on quality control and inspection methods.

Requirements

  • Degree of High school with toolmaker experiences or Intermediate Certificate in Mechanical / Industrial Engineering / Mold
  • Priority is given to candidates with 2 years or more of experience. No experience will be trained.
  • Priority is given to candidates with knowledge of CAD / CAM
  • Work in shifts
  • Priority is given to candidates who can use English in the job
