Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Trainer to deliver our
Law & Business Contract Management course. This course provides participants with the essential skills to manage contracts effectively, navigate legal frameworks, and maintain strong business relationships. The Trainer will equip participants with the tools to mitigate risks, ensure compliance, and implement robust communication and negotiation techniques to foster mutually beneficial agreements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive training on legal terminology, contractual obligations, and compliance requirements.
- Facilitate sessions on effective negotiation techniques, bid writing, and contract enforcement.
- Guide participants through the process of identifying risks, developing contingency plans, and addressing non-compliance.
- Teach participants the fundamentals of monitoring contractual performance using SLAs, scorecards, and reporting mechanisms.
- Educate participants on recognising and preventing bribery and corruption, including compliance with the Bribery Act.
- Provide insights into governance, change management, and effective team delegation for contract management.
- Share case studies and practical tools for identifying risks and future-proofing contracts.
Requirements
- Extensive expertise in law, contract management, and governance practices.
- Proven experience in delivering corporate training on contract negotiation, compliance, and risk management.
- Strong knowledge of legal frameworks, regulatory requirements, and ethical considerations in business contracts.
- Exceptional public speaking and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively.
- Proficiency in using case studies and real-world scenarios to illustrate contract management principles.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on negotiation and conflict resolution.
- Excellent presentation skills, adaptable to audiences across diverse professional levels.
- Ability to handle multiple learning styles and ensure engagement through real-world application examples.
- Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel), and Google Workspace.
- Experience with technologies and best practices for instructional manuals and teaching platforms.
- Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels and ages.
