Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Closely monitor supplier performance both onsite and remotely against key quality metrics and initiatives.
  • Actively involved in NPD process and responsible for quality validation of new product in PP (pre-production run) phase.
  • Lead quality system and process audits. Work with suppliers to continuously improve the QMS level.
  • Continuously evaluate suppliers overall quality performance. Proactively update PMI internal teams on all issues affecting supplier performance and its impact to PMIs business strategy.
  • Responsible for customer complaint processing, and follow up the CAR with suppliers to close it effectively in timely manner
  • Serve as quality liaison between PMI and the supplier, make sure that PMIs quality standard and requirements are completely and properly implemented at suppliers through effective and frequent communication.
  • Responsible for shipment final inspection at suppliers by on-site inspection or effective management and evaluation of supplier self-inspection report.

Proficiencies

  • Familiar with ISO9000 or TS16949 standards, skilled at supplier audit.



  • Proficient in quality tools: PPAP, FMEA, SPC, Control Plan, etc.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, such as 8D, 5W1Y, etc
  • Good knowledge of plastics and Stainless-steel manufacturing process. Additional ceramic or glass industry experience will be a plus.
  • Ability to take initiative and prioritize tasks; good time-management, organizational, problem-prevention and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effect. Reflect a professional image in writing, face to face or by telephone for information exchanges.



  • Good personal skills with the ability to effectively work with individuals and groups at all organization levels; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Willingness to adapt to changing business needs and deadlines.
  • Ability to study and apply new information.
  • Reflect professional temperament and commercial appeal in any time.
  • Willing work under pressure and able to travel on request.

Education and Experience

  • College or Batch degree
  • 3 years or above.
